May 9, 2012 New Flash!
If you look through my portfolio and posts you would probably assume I’m a huge Bruins fan and you’d be 100% correct.
Though our season ended earlier then i would have liked this year, I made this in honor of the best game on Earth.
For the Love of Hockey and the love of Tattoos!

April 20, 2012 HOBBIES
everyone needs a hobby. Mine used to be art until it became part of my job. To try and prevent myself from getting burned out on design or illustration I often turn to sewing, quilting, and embroidery.
I guess I’m at that age where a lot of my close friends are beginning families and having kids- this has been a great outlet for my quilting. I love to make baby blankets and with every one i do, i get a little better and learn more techniques.
I get a lot of help from my cats too!

March 26, 2012 Green Monstah’
I painted this around Christmas for a gift swap in my office. After i had so much fun painting the Bruins Bear i figured i’d stay with my love of Boston sports and do my own take on the Green Monster.
He’s done in acrylic and ink on Masonite and measures about 8×10 inches.
He’s so happy!

March 5, 2012 A long time coming
I’ve been working on this design in one form or another since i was in college. It’s something i generally will revisit about one a year. It originally was supposed to be a rather large tattoo for a friend, but that never worked out. I still like the design on it, so i keep comng back to it, adding on, taking away, makeing things better. One of these days i’ll be happy with it.
This is just a little peek of the full drawing. As it is right now, its about 24×36 inches.

February 16, 2012 SKULLS
A few things i did this week for 2 friends of mine. The bird ended up being a tattoo and the bear/deer will become an image for a recording company and also maybe a tattoo. Pen and ink for both of them. Both original drawings are for sale, contact me if you’re interested.

January 19, 2012 Base layers
I’ve been having this problem at work recently where i will sit down to draw something for our custom printers and inevitably it will turn into some form of the Devil. Seeing as we can’t use the devil or any controversial icon for the printers, I can no longer use the image for work and it becomes mine instead.
Two weeks ago i started drawing what i thought would be a sweet owl. Then when i was drawing the head it turned into a goat head… with a 3rd eye… carrying a bone. Well i really liked the original drawing and wanted to work with it on my own time. The first drawing was a little overcomplicated and busy in the feathers. I revisited the drawing today with those issues in mind and i’m really liking where its going now. I would like to become a painting at some point.
But for now, i wanted to upload this to show some of my process with finished work. Everything starts out as a sketch, full of mistakes and reworking, and overlapping. Enjoy!

January 18, 2012 Carl
Carl has come a very long way in his lifetime. He’s a character I started drawing when i was a freshman in high school. He’s imaginary to most, a prankster, and avid adventurer. Through my good friend and illustrator Alberto, Carl has had many adventures with other characters. I had not drawn him in awhile and had some down time at lunch today so here he is, 10 years ago and today. Enjoy!
